Street furniture
Street furniture with character – Freeform and sustainable in 3D concrete
Concrete street furniture no longer has to be heavy, blocky or boring. With 3D printing technology, 3D.Weber opens the door to organic shapes, smart design and sustainable materials. Imagine an outdoor classroom that invites learning, seating that blends into the landscape, or skate objects that spark creativity.
Freeform thinking = Freeform design
No molds. No limits. Just your design and our technology. With 3D printing, we realize:
- Seating that flows with the landscape
- Play elements combining aesthetics and function
- Podiums or stands printed in a single run
- Street furniture that truly enhances its environment
We print to scale, in series or as one-of-a-kind pieces. You design the form – we deliver lasting, sustainable results.
Inspiration from practice
On the schoolyard of De Expeditie in Arnhem, we collaborated with Bureau RIS to create an outdoor classroom made from 3D-printed concrete. The design features playful seating elements with visible print layers, combining functionality with educational value.
Thanks to the material’s lightweight and form freedom, no foundation or formwork was needed – a smart and sustainable alternative to traditional concrete. One flexible design replaced what would otherwise have required eight different molds.

More than concrete: street furniture with impact
What sets our street furniture apart isn’t just the technique, but also the experience it creates:
- Made with Weber 3D 160-1: a circular mortar with minimal CO₂ emissions
- Designed in collaboration with landscape architects, municipalities and schools
- Fast turnaround from idea to implementation
- No formwork required – enabling design freedom and efficiency
The result? Street furniture that’s aesthetic, practical, and future-ready.

Street furniture as city branding
In Eindhoven, 3D-printed street furniture took on an iconic role through the project The Vibe. This multifunctional object in the heart of the city – serving as a bench, flagpole, and city symbol – is based on Eindhoven’s recognizable logo. Located near the De Heuvel shopping center, it reflects the city’s identity and acts as a landmark in the public space.
The Vibe demonstrates how street furniture can be more than functional – it becomes a symbol of urban culture, branding, and pride. 3D printing enables the fast and efficient realization of these expressive, identity-driven designs.
