Internship Vacancy — 3D Concrete Printing (MBO/HBO level)
Are you excited about the idea of contributing to project Milestone, one of the most groundbreaking construction projects in the Netherlands? With us, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help print four complete houses using a 3D concrete printer — a true national first and an amazing learning experience if you enjoy innovation and hands‑on work.
Werk mee aan project Milestone
Period: March to approx. September 2026 (or part of this period)
Location: Hastelweg 255 in Eindhoven
Type of internship: Practical internship (meewerkstage)
In our 3D concrete printing facility in Eindhoven, you will be part of a small, supportive and international team. You’ll stand right in the middle of the production process: from preparing print jobs to performing quality checks, from supporting robot programming to assisting on the construction site.
This is not a passive internship — this is an internship where you actively contribute (practical internship).
What will you be doing?
As an intern, you will be fully involved in the 3D printing process. Your tasks may include:
🔧 Supporting the 3D Printing Team
- Preparing print jobs
- Assisting in the printing of concrete elements
- General factory tasks: cleaning, organizing, preparing materials
- Working with — and learning to program — the robotic arm
🎨 Quality Control
- Checking the aesthetics of printed elements
- Inspecting geometrical accuracy
- Measuring printed layers and reporting deviations
📦 Logistics & Production
- Packaging, labeling and preparing components for transport
- Organizing material flows within the factory
🏗️ Supporting the Construction Site
- Monitoring the construction process on site in Eindhoven
- Helping coordinate between the factory and the building site
🤖 Technical Preparation
- Preparing upcoming print tasks
- Assisting with robot control and programming
- Supporting small technical/mechatronics-related tasks
Who will you be working with?
You will be guided by an experienced core team:
- Jakub – Operations Manager
Oversees the entire operation: logistics, safety, administration and planning. - Jonathan – 3D Print Specialist
Translates client designs into printable files and programs the robot.
- Jorne – Process Developer
Focuses on production optimization, quality and daily factory work. And yes — he also drives the forklift.
- Nikos – R&D Project Leader
Works on R&D, technology, robotics and supports activities on the factory floor.
You will become part of a small but highly dedicated team working together to deliver a landmark project.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for multiple enthusiastic interns who:
- Are following a vocational/MBO or Bachelor/HBO program (e.g. engineering, mechatronics, construction, logistics, production technology, etc.)
- Are available from mid‑March 2026 until September 2026 (or part of this period)
- Have an interest in innovative construction methods and 3D technology
- Enjoy hands**‑**on work
- Can work independently as well as in a team
- Are not afraid to be active in a production environment
This is not a graduation assignment — it is a practical internship.
Why this internship is truly unique
- You will be part of a revolutionary construction project that rarely occurs.
- You will learn a cutting‑edge technology that is still rapidly evolving.
- You will receive real responsibility and a wide variety of tasks.
- You’ll work directly within the team and immediately see the results of your efforts.
- No two days are the same — this work is innovative, technical and highly practical.
