Saint-Gobain Benelux launches a new organizational structure

Starting July 1, Saint-Gobain Benelux is entering a new transformation phase, one that brings our teams closer together, and closer to the needs of the market.

The leadership structure has been reshaped to become more agile, more efficient, and more aligned with the expectations of customers and partners. This new organization, fully in line with the Group’s global strategy, gives broader responsibilities to local CEOs and fosters deeper collaboration across all areas of expertise.

“This transformation is about mindset as much as structure. “We’re building a futureproof organization that’s more responsive to our markets and more united in our purpose."

Richard Juggery, CEO of Saint-Gobain Benelux

What’s changing and why it matters

In a world shaped by climate challenges, economic pressure, and shifting industry dynamics, Saint-Gobain Benelux believes the best way forward is together. That’s why the organization is aligning its teams around customer segments — not product lines — and simplifying how it collaborates with stakeholders.

The leadership team now operates with a shared vision and clear responsibilities:

  • Bas Huysmans, Chief Operating Officer, leads Operational Excellence to streamline services and align operations with customer expectations.
  • Mark van Houten, CEO of Saint-Gobain Solutions Benelux, focuses on developing market-driven solutions and strengthening strategic partnerships.
  • Frank te Poel, CEO of Saint-Gobain GIM Benelux, brings together Gyproc, Isover and Mortars into a unified offer for distribution channels.
  • Marc Alfonseda Duran, CEO of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals Benelux, leads the consolidation of chemical solutions to better serve infrastructure and direct sales markets.

They continue to work closely with:

  • Annie Coppens, CEO of Glass & Glassolutions
  • Dennis Wertheimer, CEO of Cultilene
  • Benoit Rijobert, CEO of SFIC

This core team is supported by a diverse and experienced group of leaders across strategic and operational domains:

  • Louisa Maréchal-Fabre – CSR Director
  • Mathilde Jehanno – Strategy Manager
  • Liselore van der Schenk – Legal & Compliance Director
  • Florence Vroomen – Project Manager, Transformation
  • Jeroen Diepenmaat – HR Director
  • Thijs Potters – Chief Digital & IT Officer
  • Quentin Walckiers – CFO

Together, they form one Saint-Gobain team, united by a shared ambition to deliver more value, more simply.

A transformation designed around market needs

Whether serving customers, collaborating with partners, or engaging with industry stakeholders, this transformation is designed to make interactions more seamless, more meaningful, and more impactful. It’s about understanding market needs more deeply, simplifying collaboration, and building a more sustainable and high-performing future, together.
